A small software company that builds for the long run.

We are a software services company in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, serving clients in India and abroad.

Sigmoid Vedanta Technologies designs, builds and operates software systems: customer-facing web applications, internal business systems, data and AI products, and the architecture that holds them together. We also run products of our own, which keeps our advice grounded in what it actually costs to keep software alive.

We are deliberately small. Every engagement is led by a senior engineer who stays with it from the first conversation to the years after launch. There is no sales layer, no handover between a design team and a delivery team, and no junior bench learning on your budget.

Sigmoid Vedanta.

Two words from two traditions that both describe how understanding arrives.

The S-shaped curve at the heart of the first neural networks, and the shape of every product that finds its market: slow, then sudden, then stable.

Vedanta

"The end of knowledge." We bring machine learning together with sound, long-proven engineering practice.

Write it down first

Every system starts with a written brief and an architecture record. If a decision is expensive to reverse, it is made on paper, with the alternatives and the reasons, before anyone writes code.

Working software early

A thin end-to-end slice ships in the first weeks. Risk is retired while it is cheap, and you see real progress rather than slides.

Handover is a deliverable

Tests, documentation, runbooks and clean infrastructure are part of the scope, not extras. Your own team, or any other vendor, can take the system on without us.

Plain language, fixed prices where possible

Proposals say what will be built, what it costs and what is excluded. When scope is genuinely uncertain we say so and propose a short discovery phase instead of guessing.

Sigmoid Vedanta Technologies is a registered micro enterprise under the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India, based in Sreekaryam, Thiruvananthapuram.

We work in Indian Standard Time and schedule overlap hours with clients in Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and North America.

We are interested in engineers who can take a problem from conversation to production and are comfortable owning the result. Experience with Python, PostgreSQL, modern front ends, cloud platforms or applied machine learning is useful; the ability to write clearly is essential.
