Terms of use.

These terms govern your use of the website at sigmoidvedanta.com (the "Site"), which is operated by Sigmoid Vedanta Technologies ("we", "us"), a micro enterprise registered in Kerala, India under Udyam registration number UDYAM-KL-12-0147405. By using the Site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. The Site

The Site describes our company, services and products and provides ways to contact us. It is provided for general information. Nothing on the Site is an offer capable of acceptance; any engagement between you and us is governed by a separate written agreement.

2. Permitted use

You may view, download and print pages from the Site for your own reference. You may not use the Site in any way that is unlawful, that damages or impairs it, or that interferes with anyone else's use of it, and you may not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site or the systems that serve it.

3. Engagements

Software development, architecture, consulting and support services are provided under a written agreement, statement of work or proposal accepted in writing. That document sets out scope, deliverables, fees, timelines, ownership of intellectual property, confidentiality, warranties and limitations of liability for the engagement. Where it conflicts with these terms, the engagement document prevails.

4. Proposals and estimates

Estimates and indicative prices given before a written agreement, including in replies to enquiries sent through the Site, are provided in good faith for discussion and are not binding until confirmed in a signed proposal or agreement.

5. Products

Products we operate, such as Rigveda Live and Ferzline, have their own terms published on their respective sites. The Inventory Management System is licensed and supported under the agreement entered into with each client.

Content, intellectual property and liability.

6. Intellectual property

The Site, including its text, design, graphics, code and the Sigmoid Vedanta name and emblem, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Third-party names and marks mentioned on the Site belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify them.

7. Links

The Site links to websites we do not control, including products we operate under separate terms. We are not responsible for the content or practices of other sites.

8. No warranty

The Site is provided "as is". We make reasonable efforts to keep its content accurate and current but give no warranty that it is complete, accurate or free from errors, or that the Site will be available without interruption.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. Liability in connection with any engagement is governed by the agreement for that engagement.

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
